Robert Sternberg

Professor of Human Development

Dr. Robert Sternberg is a professor of human development in the College of Human Ecology at Cornell. A noted college administrator, he is an influential psychologist; he is a past president of the American Psychological Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Education. As his Cornell bio page puts it: “Sternberg’s main research interests are in intelligence, creativity, wisdom, thinking styles, teaching and learning, love, jealousy, envy, and hate.” Read his latest thinking on admissions testing.
