Dr. James Rodger Fleming’s teaching bridges the sciences and the humanities, and his research interests involve the history of the geophysical sciences. He is the author of, among other books, Fixing the Sky: The Checkered History of Weather and Climate Control. He’s a professor of Science, Technology, and Society at Colby College and a research associate at the Smithsonian Institution.
